No formal qualifications required

Duration & Format

A 6 guided learning hour course, delivered over 1 full day. A handbook is provided to support the course. Delegates will work individually and in groups. As some aspects of the course involve floor work, it is advisable to wear appropriate clothing. Previous experience will also be taken into account

Price

The cost of this course for up to 14 candidates is £350 when run at your venue. This includes certification and a manual for each student. There are no additional costs.

£60 per delegate on any of our open courses.

  • Priorities in First Aid
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Control of Bleeding
  • Epilepsy
  • Poisoning
  • Burns and Scalds

Assessment Guidelines

 You will receive a First Aid Appointed Persons certificate of attendance upon successful completion of the course

Basic first aid training course runs for 5 hours.

You will learn how to deal with First Aid situations, giving CPR, dealing with shock, bleeding etc.

No, this course is not a legal requirement, but its essential to safe life.

Basic First Aid course is an interactive course, learners are assessed on the course, there are no exams. Certificates will be given if attendance is full.

Yes, this course is very good for people working as Doormen or Security Guards as they are more exposed to work place accidents.
